5 OUT OF 5 STARS
Tillamook Creamery, 4165 N Hwy 101, Tillamook, OR 97141
The Tillamook Creamery doesn't disappoint! You are greeted by a lot of Handicap parking spots with cross hatch, "Automatic Caution Doors", an elevator and plenty of room to move around. The best part is that there is no admission costs.
Plan to spend a good portion of the day here and take your time to see everything.
You are first taken to a hallway to the left where there are displays of things from days-gone-by, the restaurants, an instragram wall, rest rooms and the elevator to take you to the viewing platform.
Once you get upstairs, there is first an interactive area where kids can bottle feed a calf and you can try and milk a cow. Then comes the viewing stations of the facroty below you, and a film explaining the entire process. Then you get to taste the different kinds of cheese.
You can pack a lunch or get a grill cheese sandwhich in their restaurant.
There is even an opportunity to do a Geocache.
