Meet Roger Healey
Last week we stopped at the South Pacific County Humane Society to look at the kitties and we fell in love with this little guy. I filled out an application for adoption and they got back to us with the OK. We set an appointment for Friday at 1:30 PM for the meet and greet and to take him home. Keeping fingers crossed that no one else snaps him up before we can get there. We would have gone to get him immediately, but since we would be scootering/biking over there, we needed to wait for the weather to clear up on Friday.
In the meantime I have been getting ready for him to come home. I emptied out drawers that will be used for the litter box and dug the pet carrier out of the storage bay. I have stuff in our online shopping carts like food, supplies and toys which we will pick up next Sunday. The local grocery store is expensive so we'll pick up just enough food to get us through until then.
