It's Always Something

It's been a month since I last posted. Looks like it's time for an update!

Not much has happened other than Squeedle got neutered and the fan belt that drives the power steering and the A/C finally broke.  Don got a replacement belt but still needs to have someone put it on.

We were in Chehalis for most of Oct/Nov and during that time there was a lot of cold and rain. We ended up not going anywhere or doing anything because of it. Literally. We were inside 99% of the time.  I did a lot of crocheting and made new soda can spinners to keep myself occupied.

The awning is toast. The front bracket was hit by something and the attachment at the rear bracket has failed. Don's going to remove the awning and dump it. The canvas on it is getting rotted anyway. We picked up a commercial grade 10x10 EZ-Up type thing, with walls (it even has a slot for a banner) to replace the awning.  It was on sale at Walmart so we thought, "Why not.". Cheaper than an awning.

We made it all the way to Seaside, OR without any hiccups concerning the truck except when Don turned on the windshield wipers, the headlights and the heater. Either the alternator or the belt to the alternator squeaked really loud. It stopped when he turned off the heater.

It's always something!
