Home Again, Home Again, Jiggety-Jig

We made it to Everett safe and sound.  Fortunately we had zero issues with the van and trailer during the trip.  Other than some windy places where we got pushed around a little bit, the trips was smooth sailing all the way.  Weather was beautiful. Not too hot, not too cold and nothing but sunshine.

We boondocked our way home. We left Palm Springs on April 11th, right after several days of rain and finally arrived at our final destination on the 16th.  We are currently moochdocking in a friend's driveway in Everett.

We ended up using rest areas along I-5 and one Walmart Super Center parking lot for our overnight stays.  The gas ended up costing us around $350. We spent a minimal on food. I believe we spent some cash on a 1lb bag of beef jerky and some coffee drinks for Don and that was about it.  The rest of the time we ate off the stores we bought before we left. We stopped often, taking good breaks between rest areas and at gas stations. Our last overnight stay was at the Walmart Super Center in Chehalis where we re-stocked our food stores with enough to last us for about 2 weeks. We dumped the tanks and refilled the fresh water when we got to the Milton rest area in Washington. That was our last stop along the highway.

Our friends invited us to stay at their place for as long as we need to. We're also here to help, support and keep each other company during the isolation of the Covid-19 pandemic stay-at-home order.

That's about all for now. Until next time, stay well. Live long and prosper! ,\\//
